OK...just found the first gun system I REALLY want

Really? Besides holding a spare magazine, what does the "revolutionary" Flux system do that this existing B+T SIG P320 chassis conversion doesn't already do, but with considerably less weight and bulk?

PS: The B+T P320 Universal Service Weapon chassis conversion is a veritable "laser of death" at 50m, reliably ringing a 5" gong with every shot!

I dunno - IMHO, the Flux product looks much like a solution in search of a problem. It seems to share much in common with those gimmicky Roni/FAB Defense "Bolt on Carbine" systems, turning the sidearm into some sort of enhanced, stand-alone PDW/carbine. I personally much prefer the B+T offering, which is a genuine, stripped-down enhancement to the existing SIG P320 sidearm, extending the effective range of the handgun to 75m or even 100m in skilled hands.

Personally, I'd prefer the red dot to not reciprocate, so I might go with the flux over the B&T if price weren't an issue

That singular "advantage" of the Flux over the B+T comes at considerable expense in terms of bulk, complexity and weight. Provided your MRDS is of decent quality, it should suffer no ill effects from slide movement. There is an advantage to maintaining an undisturbed sight picture, however this only applies if a steady sight picture is possible under blow-back recoil.

Nothwithstanding its ability to be holstered in a special rig, the Flux pretty much constitutes a stand-alone, pistol-based PDW "system", as opposed to a handgun enhanced by a Shoulder Stock. They are almost (but not quite) apples and oranges. That said, I will choose simplicity over complexity every time regardless of "###y looks", mulit-shade FDE colour schemes, or slick marketing commercials Your mileage may obviously vary....

"Fight...Like an American..." Hoo-RAH! :d :d :d

Seriously, that's a pretty ###y unit. Having a holsterable sidearm that mounts to the shoulder [that pop-out stock!!] is massively cool. I expect to see it in any number of up-coming action movies.

Nice but besides the range what are we going to do with it here in Canada? Wait that's most of our firearms lol nice to look at paper weights.

It's a brand new concept - revolutionary in fact....wow, a 9mm with a shoulder stock...

Browning HP rear sights were graduated to 500 meters...

1890's Borchardt, 1896 Mauser, 1903 Luger, 1903 FN & 1935 FN high powers....spring to mind, but it's probably just a misinterpretation
