Tikka T3 lite camo stainless with a Vortex Diamondback is what i run for a 243. MOA with federal fusions and out of the box tikka triggers are pretty impressive. I want to upgrade to a Diamondback HP to give one of those scopes a try but other than that I'm really happy with the set-up.

AWESOME gopher/varmint gear vibe we have going here guys....keep it coming!
Thought it might be a good time to post a few gopher hunt photos from my 2014 run to S. Alberta. 2-1/2 days was simply not enough....but boy...I made my presence felt in that time. The fur was flying for sure!
Sometimes the situation calls for some heavy-duty shotgunning. (ok..#7-1/2, so not THAT heavy) In this case, a bunch of mounds on a hump in the middle of a very flat field. Shooting prone (and missing) would have had bullets landing a few postal codes over...so it was safer to shotgun them. I've probably posted these on CGN before...but what the heck!
Likely the first 3 I shot...and within an hour of landing in Calgary. lol 3 groundhogs here in S. Ontario might take you all day to find. These 3 fell in about the first 7 minutes.
