Please don't anyone think I'm "Anti Tikka" I love them, that's why I've had a few. Yep I used & abused mine in all weather and the "Plastic" parts are Not a Durability issue at ALL (100% cosmetic)
I have not owned a single Tikka that would not Shoot far better then I'm capable of.......if for nothing else That's a Dam Good reason to own one![]()
Sounds fairly positive to me.
I will always stand by the fact that you get good value for your money. Often people compare the T3 to rifles that cost $300 more and they still have a crap trigger and grainy bolt. Maybe the stock is kind of toyish but the functioning parts are what really matters. I've walked away from rifles which shot excellent all because of jams at the wrong time and other little issues that I can't live with. Accuracy is not the #1 factor to me.
I'm selling my T3 in 270 WSM in a couple of weeks when deer season ends and picking up a Kimber 8400 Montana. I still have the other 3 T3's to play with. Just up grading my alpine rifle, that's all.
