You're right, it's not difficult as long as you are happy with the 2.8" mag box limitation as Slimbo rightly mentioned.

The CMs allow for longer seating to meet the lands.

The 2.8” SA mag box is mostly a Remington thing. Some claim that the tikka and the m70 are currently better choices. I’m not so sure. But then use the 2.8” oal number as a big reason the Creedmoor exists. When in other rifles this OAL number is irrelevant.

Ah no. One of the only things less common than a factory 8” 260 or 243, is a LH version of the same. There are however factory LH options available chambered for the CM & PRC cases. Another plus for the newer releases.
