I apologize for the lack of detail!

700 Action. 308. MDT TAC21 Chassis. Still need to pick a shoulder stock, barrell (24 or 26 inch bull) and glass.

So now I need to pick a barrel and trigger set up. Looking at long range shooting. I will be ordering the TAC21 from MDT soon.

With the MDT, you will need an AR buffer tube, buttstock and grip.
Plus magazines.
There are businesses up top which can supply ready for final fit barrels.
700 in a MDT makes a good rifle.

Going with .308. I will probably send the action to Mystic for a barrel. Need to give some thought to the stock but MDT has some good starting options.

Must start thinking about glass too. My mid level Bushnells aren't going to cut it.

I am also going to be making a scope purchase for the coming season. Considering Leupold Mk. IV or a Sightron.
I've shot a .308 for years. Very well established cartridge, lots of knowledge out there. Just finishing my new competition rifle which is in .260.
I suspect Mystic would recommend that you get a Sightron.
If you want to save some $ on the stock, get a take-off HS Precision for $300 or so from the EE. Ergonomics are so-so, but the desigis sound and a HS stocked rifle will shoot well.
The new Archangel stock that is coming in might be worth looking at.

Personally, I'd go 26", but that's me... my next build is a .260 with MDT chassis, so I'm going through much of what you are right now too... except a gunsmith on this forum told me a stiller action would work in the MDT, so that's my route ;)
