I just got my 3rd 10/22, but its real old and been around the block. I took it to the range and found out that it has a little problem. I dont know if its from the old owner or from wear. Is it possible that this 10/22 has fired so many rounds that it has worn out the little notch on the disconnector ? It hasnt been filed off, its still all there. Or could the corner of the sear where it locks in to the disconnector be worn ? I got this rifle from a old timer for $100. what is happening doesn't happen all the time on every trigger pull, its at random. So I need some info, I dont want to buy a whole new trigger group, some new parts would be much nicer. Buying a new trigger group would just piss me off and make me want to have just bought a newer rifle.

What's happening...full auto?
If it's only the odd FTF, I'd go with a warn firing pin. (especially if it's been around the black a few times)

rather not say what is really happening, its not the firing pin. I could see if the bolt had never been taking out and cleaned the center grove that the pin sits in could get packed with crap and not let the pin slid, so every time the bolt gos forward you would have a problem. I really think its in the trigger grope, ive taking it apart and you can tell that it has been fired alot, the sear is very smooth at the point that hooks into the disconnector.
I think a easy fix would to just buy new sear and disconnector, but i cant find the 2 parts for sale you gotta eat it and buy the whole new trigger. So if any one knows how I can buy just the 2 parts that would help

I can read between the lines.... ;)
You certainly don't want that that happening.
I have a sear and disconnect (and hammer) if you need one ...or a trigger group if that's the way you want to go?
Just PM me and we can work something out.

I bought new sear and hammer at one time from Rimfire Sports. I understand they don't ship to Canada any more but there are other places that sell this stuff and it is not expensive. Sounds like Wham-O will help you out.
