I just got my 3rd 10/22, but its real old and been around the block. I took it to the range and found out that it has a little problem. I dont know if its from the old owner or from wear. Is it possible that this 10/22 has fired so many rounds that it has worn out the little notch on the disconnector ? It hasnt been filed off, its still all there. Or could the corner of the sear where it locks in to the disconnector be worn ? I got this rifle from a old timer for $100. what is happening doesn't happen all the time on every trigger pull, its at random. So I need some info, I dont want to buy a whole new trigger group, some new parts would be much nicer. Buying a new trigger group would just piss me off and make me want to have just bought a newer rifle.
