They are wonderful guns to handle also, Got the black alloy frame with the woodcock on the bottom of the rx on mine, seperated barrels, a very well made gun, with nice bluing, and super wood ,and checkering. Congrats

Can you tell me where you bought the Renaissance? I am in the market for a good quality OU in either 12 or 20 gauge and the Franchi is on the short list. Actually it is the only one on the list right now!!

I have owned a few Franchis ( 7) of them, one was a new one - simply fantastic shotguns for the money!
The older ones are REALLY nice , but much heavier than the new ones....

$1300 for the Renaissance

I have forgotten how much the Veloce was and I do not want to look in the firearms invoice folder because it will me, not to mention take awhile as there are over 100 receipts. I do recall it being in the same ballpark though. The prices for Franchi has gone up quite a bit, that is why I thought I should buy another at the old pricing while it was the last one in stock.

I expected them to cost more than that judging by the detail in the pics.
