Both these babies are very light, the first thing people say when they grab either one is how light it is for its rich look.
Yup, my Renaissance was a really light gun.
The Falconet was also a lightweight gun, but not in the same league as the older Alciones .
I should qualify that statement about "not as light as the new ones"
The Falconet was a light gun as well, my father broke me into pheasants with on back in the 60's, but they were an entry level gun, and nowhere near the quality of the Franchis such as the Alcione.
I have an older Alcione, and it is probably 2 lbs, heavier than the 12 gauge Falconet in my garage.
The new Franchis are superb, although I haven't had a chance to shoot a Highlander yet....
