Couple of weeks ago I found an old .22 long unfired cartridge at the range. It has a firing pin mark so I guess it was tossed as it didn't fire. The stamp is just a 'D' so I assume it's from Dominion. All I could find out was they only produced .22 ammo in the early 20's. It has a long lead bullet that is badly corroded, worse than a Civil War minie I have. I've been walking that ground for 18 years and probably stepped on it countless times. An interesting find for me at least. I like finding things older than me.
