Just picked up a mix of old 303 brit brass from the kamloops show, my questions is about having to full size it or just neck sizing.
If I can chamber the old brass should it be good to go for necking and reloading, or is it mandatory to full size anything not fired in my gun?

Sorry if its a dumb question just havent reloaded older mystery brass yet

If the bolt closes on the case, you can neck size alone if you wish. I do this all the time with once-fired brass.
FL sizing in a bolt action is for when the case was fired in a chamber larger than yours and wont fit or to bump the shoulder back to make the bolt close easier if fired in the same rifle.

I'd say full length size to start, fire in your rifle then you should be good to neck size after the brass has been fire formed to your chamber.

LUTNIT gave the correct answer.
If the bolt will close on the strange empty, just neck size it.
