I acquired some old (new in box) Winchester .307, 150 gr Power Point ammo (X3075). I cannot find ballistic charts for this round anywhere. I am looking for the Ballistic Coefficent (BC) of this ammo to plug into my Shooter app to get a ballistics chart. I did find one old article that stated the Muzzle Velocity was 2760 fps. I wrote to Winchester and even they could not tell me the BC and stated "we have not made it for 30 years". Does anyone here know the BC for this ammo?
thank you,
Dan

I would guess and its just a guess. If you can find some data for 308 win ammo from around the same time period the bullet is likely the same design.

Thanks KRJ. Good idea and I have the .308 spec's but I want precision. And part of the problem is that the .307 are flat-nosed and I think bullet shape greatly affects BC from what I have read. The .308 in 150 has a different MV too. So I was hoping someone might have the old manufacturer spec's on the .307 150 gr.

Yeah a flat nose bullet would change the numbers. I would say thst you would have to calculate the numbers your self. Which if all you have is a single box of shells it is unlikely to be worth while.
