Old Ammo Find: Star Expansion 22 Blanks or what?

Likely for a Ramset 'gun'. Shoots fasteners into concrete, etc.

Like the box says, not intended for bullet fir'in shootin' irons.
Look for some badly behaved concrete, and nail it without mercy.

Like Sunray has said a load for a explosive actuated tool.There used to be allot of Star pin guns around in the 60's.

As a young lad I recall breaking the extractor of my Cooey 39 by trying to use something similar.
They were little red loads,22 caliber and about the size of a 22 short.

Shot some of those in an old ranger .22lr we have on the farm. They are good blanks lol
