Old bayonet question

I picked up this bayonet advertised as a snider enfield bayonet, but upon receiving it, its too small to fit on the snider muzzle.
I'm curious if anyone knows what it might be for. There are unit markings on it.

Austro-Hungarian Model 1854 bayonet for the Lorenz Rifle I think. The angled barrel lug slot is quite distinctive. Lots of those came into the US during their civil war.
