Old Bushnell Scopechief/Banners~any fans here?

Used a Bushnell Scopechief IV 2 1/2-8X with "command post" for years on a Win model 100 in 308 Win.
Sold it with the rifle a few years back to a friend and to my knowledge the scope is still in service.

I have a Scopechief VI 2.5-8 on a CZ 455 American .17HMR. Love the scope. Nice and clear, classic look suits the rifle.

I bought a box of old scopes, rings etc at a yard sale, most of them were broken but there was a nice old K4 weaver and bushnell scopechief. Not bad for $10, the weavers on my K31 and bushnells on my 10/22.

I esp like the Japan Bushnell Scopechief VI series of scopes. Currently have two. 4x & 1.5-4.5.

They come up for really good prices and have the warranty.

My Grandfather replaced the Weaver he had put on his Model 71 with a Scopechief IV around 80 or 81. It still wore that scope until season before last when I replaced it with a 3X - 9X Leupold. That old fixed 4X Bushnell worked great and still was when I sold it. The Parker Hale 1200C 30-06 I have for sale in the EE wears a fixed 6X wide angle Banner of about the same vintage. I used to have a 1.5 - 4.5 Scopechief on a big bore 94 in .356 Win. Bought them brand new in the 80's. I also had the same scope on a .308 Norma Mag years ago. They were good tough scopes.
