Old Dominion and Imperial 44-40 ammo

I find my self owning some 44-40 ammo in old boxes from imperial and dominion, the dominion looks far older. Some fired, some unfired, I suspect the boxes may be collectable even if the ammo isn't usable. Looking for any info or potential value here? I do have an 1892 in 44-40 made in 1896, so it's nice to have some old boxes of ammo to accompany.

I’ve shot old Dominion 30 and 32 Remington and it all went bang no problems
The old Dominion brass is great reloading brass too

Just didn't want to assume it was as I have no idea on the age.

Tim249, what you show in your pictures is all good ammunition for hunting whitetail deer. Even for target shooting I much prefer it to the anemic "cowboy action" ammunition that is more readily available.

Ok thanks, I basically wanted to make sure it wasn't collector ammo or too old and "for display" only.

It's definitely collector status ammo now, I still shoot or occasionally.
