Cleaning out the basement of my grandparents place and I came across this ammo.
Any idea what it is?

No big value, but were used a lot for wild cat problems.

Toss them in an old Winchester with the longer barrels and they make this noise.

The term acorn rounds, roughly refers to the German manufacturer (RWS?) or various rimfire rounds.

And in North America very often it is used to nickname the 9mm Flobert rimfire solid shot cartridges. Of which these are almost identically shaped, except the actual size.

The base of these CBs actually have an acorn on them. More of a gallery round, and tricky to find. Pictured with a .22lr for ref.
