Have an opportunity to purchase 10 full tins of these caps. They are in a tabacco from the 1880s but all the cap tins no longer have much paint on them. They are all embossed, Eltey, London. Tgere is also a small brass tin of some kind of red paste that has dried like nail polish but shows signs that it was fingered dipped when soft. Buddy wants $48 Canuck bucks. Are they worth that is there a market for these?

Definitely a collector market especially if the tins are unopened, although if the writing is faint then the value declines substantially; but in any event at $48 for ten tins I'd snap them up.
