The KTSA Frosty Farky, our most popular shoot of the year, is fast approaching.

Entries are arriving at a rapid rate, we had to turn away several shooters last year so if you plan on attending please get your entry in soon.

Cost is $60 for the 2 days which includes target pullers.

Range will be open Friday afternoon for competitor pulling sight in as always.

Saturday –25th September: 0900 to 1600
Course of fire:
1 x 15 round string at 300 meters.
2 x 15 round strings at 500 meters
Time limit:
1st string: Unlimited blow off shots for 3 minutes, then 17 minutes for 2
convertible sighting shots and 15 rounds on score. (Blow off shots will be into the berm and will not be pulled targets)
2nd & 3rd string: 17 minutes for 2 convertible sighting shots and 15 rounds on score.

Sunday –26th September: 0900 to 1500
Course of fire:
2 x 15 round strings at 500 meters.
Time limit:
1st string: 1 non-convertible blow off shot, then 17 minutes for 2 convertible sighting shots and 15 rounds on score.
2nd string: 17 minutes for 2 convertible sighting shots and
15 rounds on score

Awards for daily and grand aggregate scores if 3 or more shooters in a class.

Dry camping is available at the range.

Richard, a couple of things.

You might actually try confirming via email to the entrants, so we know that you have in fact received our entries. We did after all give you our email addresses.

What does "dry camping" mean? No water? no booze? Give us a hint.

That said, looking forward to it.
 
c3pppo - what Richard didn't tell you is that dry camping means you in particular are not allowed to drink anything at all for the duration of the competition ( hey, I gotta get some advantage over ya ! ).
 
Hi Richard, count me in ok. Trying to get enough done to shoot the new PGW 308 at Sask and if it works out, I'll go F-TR for the fun of it at the "Farky".

In case, the same caterer is cooking up dinner, there will be 3 steaks for us.

I see that you have changed the format - 1 relay at 300m, 4 relays at 500m. Thanks for adding in the blow off shot each day. That will appease a number of shooters. will that shot be scored?

PS, this is superbly run match, ubber fun, great quality of shooting, lots of BS'ing, typically excellent Sat dinner. My must do event of the season....
 
I do not have a line on someone to put together a dinner so far but I will keep you posted.

Our former guy is no longer able to do it anymore. Traditionally this was a potluck dinner which we may have to do this year with a BYOM if I can get someone to bring out a Propane BBQ or 2.

And for those of you I am holding spots for, please get your money in sooner than later. Those awards don't pay for themselves ;)
 
Yeah, seeing the caterer's photo in the group of "Kamloops Most Wanted" was odd to say the least. I could not help but think of Willy Pickton when that guy was selling his "smokies"!

If you are what you eat, then its a wonder we didn't all wake up as crack whores!
