Old German Sig P226 vs New P226

I just purchased 70 new Sigs for my Department. P226 DAK 9mm's. They came directly from Sig in the US. If I were to do it again, I would order from Germany! The craftsmanship and QC is poor on the US made guns (IMHO). I received new guns that had burs in critical areas, and I had to send 3 back because the slides were improperly machined! WTF right??? I'm still waiting to get the 3 new replacements.

Been doing more research and found out sig likes to change and swap parts out based on what they have on hand. Countless owners of the mk25 are complaining about the varying parts on their models. Some have different barrels and coatings and so on. Maybe I should just find a nice older German one.

Sig USA reminds me of Para back in the transition from Canada to USA, anything will do to get it out the door, some builds are a lot better than others depending what parts are on hand. Current and past German built guns are another story, I have yet to see the variation in build or finishing like we see with the USA guns now. I'm not knocking the USA guns, it just seems that they are not as consistent as they once were or could be.
