I inherited some old lever guns that I am not sure of values or what I want to do with them.. Some of them look rough, but you don't know until you research. Any help with values would be amazing. Descriptions and pics to follow. Thank you for any help or pointing me toward someone who would know about these things.

Also, I have a newish Winchester 1873 44-40. 20" case hardened walnut. Curious what that would sell for if I didn't want to wait for several months.

My 2 cents. Probably $2600 to $2800 for the pair of 94 carbines, 25/35 and 38/55 being more desirable. The 92 that looks refinished in 32/20 maybe $700 on a good day. The 92 rifle in 32 with peep maybe $1500 or more. The 92 carbine in 25/20 looks pretty good, I would think $1500 or higher. In general 25 and 32 calibre 1892 rifles will fetch less than 44/40 rifles if condition is similar.
New manufacture 1873 nor sure, not my thing. Maybe $2k to the right person. Many like guns are listed at much higher prices but don't move.

This is very helpful information. Thank you. I think I like them more than 6k worth. Haha. It's cool having a bunch of old rifles and ammo to go with them.

The market is saturated with average condition and less than average condition guns guns shows are full of over priced lever guns
The only guns that are selling at this time are high condition guns
average and less than average guns don't sell when over priced and for the most part the pricing so far mentioned are over priced
30 years doing gun shows and 40 years in the firearms industry
just saying

Years ago when I went to gun shows there was always quite a few of nice little gems to be found but since Covid most of what I see now is beat up run of the mill guns with stupid prices on them and your right they don t sell

The 25-20 is quite nice. He had that one for years. The rest vary from poor to fair. I don't think i will sell them. They are cool. Especially having all the odd ball ammo. He had thousands of rounds of oddball cowboy ammo.

Personally I would keep the better examples and sell the others. Prices I suggested are starting points. Been buying and selling guns for 45 years and have learned you can always drop your asking price if things don't move. Pretty hard to raise them.
That bring said its tiresome seeing old Winchesters that are grey guns, poor bores and damaged and oversanded wood having asking prices many hundreds of dollars too high. The market decides values. Its not sentimental.
