I have a bunch of IVI 7.62 NATO and .303 DAC WW2 Bertram brass.

I hear the IVI can be reloaded for 308 but what about the 303? Is it junk?

Just wondering if their is something to do with these old cases aside from junking them? Melt them down etc?

Thanks

The IVI brass is good military brass well suited to those re-loading for their m14s.

BERDAN brass should be tossed, unless you have enough to warrant a trip to the scrap yard.

berdan .303 could be turned into .410 brass all that needs to be done is drill them out for a 209 primer or save them and save the rest of the scrap brass you get and scrap it

OK - out of curiosity, is their an issue with selling IVI brass? Not planning to but just wondering.

Very little IVI brass is surplussed, so their is a chance it was removed from a Military range without authorization. Im Not saying you have stolen property, as some does pop up, Budget Shooter Supply legally sells some from time to time, but CGN rules say you can't sell it on here. Most likely to avoid any legal issues all together.

Keep it, reload it, enjoy it.

On a semi related note about IVI brass. Is there any great differences between old (from the 1960s) DA brass Versus IVI brass??

Got to remember to remove the primer crimp from the IVI stuff when reloading. ;) Other than that good stuff, probably better than a lot of commercial.
