I have an old single shot .22 that was sitting in a basement for who knows how long. I want to fix it up a little.

It's marked Ranger and I did do a little bit of research and I do believe it was a Sears brand. I am trying to figure out who made these for sears so I can source some parts for it.

The closest thing that I can find that resembles the rifle would be a Cooey 39 or 75, which I think (correct me if I am wrong) they are pretty much the same except the stock. I was just wondering if anyone knew anything about these rifles and could point me in the right direction to find parts for it.

I can post some pictures of it once I get home from work if required.

Thanks

The closest thing that I can find that resembles the rifle would be a Cooey 35 or 75, which I think (correct me if I am wrong) they are pretty much the same except the stock. Ranger was the store brand for Eatons. Before Ranger it was Eatonia. Sure Shot was the brand for Sears. It will not be a model 35 as that is the hard to find pump gun made by Cooey. It is most likely the model 39 or 75. I have a Ranger that looks the same as the model 75 (whale belly type stock). It has a shorter barrel than my regular Cooey model 75. The Cooey model 39 is your regular type .22 stock in that it does not have the whale belly or hump back design.

Yeah, I meant the 39 not 35. I have edited my first post.

So it is just a cooey model 39 then.

Anyone know where I could get some parts? I am missing the extractor and bolt knob. A stalk would be awesome because mine is atrocious.

Thanks
