Thats where I found my info. but my SN is 6 numbers Rugers sample is only 5. Thats why im unsure if the date is right.
31857=1956
Since mine starts with 31 & no others do I have to believe its a 1956.

Im going to dura coat mine before it goes on EE
Ruger said it was issued as a 22 mag but now is 22lr but with matching SN on the cylinder so that makes it a Super Six. They said it wont say super six on the frame either. Dont know why?
Wish it was not missing the mag cylinder
Super Single Six, I think refers to the adjustable sights. It is only .22LR
I bought the gun from an estate so I don't know if there was a magnum cylinder.
