Hello from Nova Scotia!
I recently purchased a Mossberg 395 KB (12 gauge, bolt action, C-lect choke) for $ 125 and am now looking at it wondering what the hell I'm going to do with it (bought it on a whim).
Then I started thinking about refinishing and modifying these old guns for fun. I know there's a huge market for 870, Norc and 590 mods, but I've never seen a really whacked out old shotgun.
I'm wondering if there any photos or stories you guys have about old shotgun rebuilds that veered far away from a traditional "restaining and rebluing".
I'm thinking lime green stock, Armacoat barrel and red dot scope, something so ugly only the person who built it would love it.
Throwing this out there, any thoughts? Besides what an idiot I am
Thanks!
