old style c7 upper

ummm, everyone and their dog?

Try wolverine supplies in the banner above.

ummm, thanks. ummm i want a upper with out the a2 sight. ummm, more like the a1 flip sight. ummm, should have been more clear. ummm sorry:p

An A1 upper with an A2 Govt profile barrel and an A2 flash hider will give you C7 "style". Give Wolverine or Questar a call. It will probably have to be built up for you from parts.

thanks, was looking at most of the sites. most show the flat top m4 style or the yank a2. c7 is a combination of a1 and 2 i guess. a1 upper with case deflecter. wasn't aware they would custom. approx what do think a c7 type upper and a a2 lower rifle would go for? thank you all for your time. ummm even you petel :)

I think Bushmaster has the C7 (A1 sight/carry handle with case deflector) style uppers as well... IIRC, they produced a carbine with them a couple of years ago (if they aren't still available).

hsld.

so when the time comes should be able to find what i'm looking for in canada? by that time i'll probably wan't a m40 type rig, lol. thank you all for your help.

Colt makes a C7/C8 style upper - though the new one all have M4 feedramps cuts -- R.Nichols is IIRC still the Colt distributor for Canada (so good luck)

I emailed Wolverine Supplies, and they are not able to source A1 style uppers.

(I'd like a forward assist on my SP1, but still have it look tacti-retro)

Has anyone talked to (the dealer who hates civilian service) and tried to smooth things out? Buy him a beer?

Um, that dealer (R. Nichols) hates individual LE/MIL customers too. They can't be bothered by anything other than agency purchase orders. When manufacturers tell me to call Nichols, I make a point of telling them about the level of service they provide as a matter of principle, and that I would rather buy a different manufacturer's product than deal with Nichols. A few of them sounded like they were concerned enough to actually send my concerns up their ladder.

There were a lot of C7 style Colt made uppers brought into canada when Colt was "into" selling the AR15A2 rifles.
