Looks like you have a 40 Standard Grade. Here is what it would look like before it had the finish sanded off and the checkering flattened out. I wonder what $25 in 1914 would be in todays money?

Had my 16ga Tobin out a couple weeks ago. Was passed down to me and has been my favorite grouse gun for years.
