I purchased this gun as is, it is a Remington 700 BDL varmint 308 built in 1980 it has a
Leupold Var-X III 3.5x10x40 scope with target knobs with Leupold rings and bases, I did confirmed with Leupold it is an early tactical model again 1980 vintage. The only info on the stock is on the butt pad " Uncle Mikes". The rifle has been fitted with a timney trigger, and oversize bolt knob.
My question as package how would it rate, compared to a current 700 and a comparable Leupold?
And has it stands how would it be rated out of a score of 10?
