Download the chamber dimensions and all will become clearer.

If ALL the dimensions of the Weatherby are larger, then, dead easy. well, except for...the unexpected!

And that discounts trying to feed from the magazine.

NO it is NOT as the Bolt face is the wrong size ! so you will need a new bolt ! OK or have it MODIFIED ! Also the barrel IS too short for a 270 WBee to perform up to snuff too ! RJ

You won't need a new bolt. It is a fifteen minute job to open it up and another ten to alter the extractor. The re-chamber should be straight-forward. I do not think it is a good conversion since the factory barrel is only 22" which is a bit short to get the best out of the 270 Wby.

I own a 270 Wyb mag with a 24" barrel. I would never advise anyone to have one with anything less than a 24' barrel and I would much rather have a 26" one. As Leeper stated a 22" one is to short to get the best out of this round.. IMO

I have a M77 in 270 Win and 7 MM Rem Mag the action looks to be the same ! 270 WBee nearly the same case as the 7 RM is ! RJ
