I just acquired an older made in Japan Tasco TR 6-18x40mm BDC scope that has both English and French markings. Namely, the names of the animals on the BDC/Power ring are English on the left and correspondingly French on the right of the range viewing window. I found plenty of references to this scope on the net but none regarding the bilingual markings. Could anyone shine some light on what I have? Are the English/French markings common?
