Hello,

I was hoping for a little assistance in finding our some more information on the shotgun shells pictured in the attached album.

The first box on the left is Winchester - Western, Super X, Mark 5. High brass hull. Bottom marked WW 12 Gauge. 15 rounds in the box.

The second box is Redline 12 Gauge, bottom marked 12 Gauge. Appears to be a copper colour. Full box.

The third (green shell) is a Remington Express 12 Gauge, green hull, high brass, bottom stamped Remington Peters 12 gauge.

Here's the album:

Let me know if you have any info. Date of manufacture, value, collectibility, etc.

They aren't that old, or maybe my memory is too long! I shot a bunch of those shells in the late 1970's. Still have a few kicking around. Their value is as shooters, in my opinion. If they gave been well stored, they are worth maybe $10-12 for the rem & win shells, and half that for the cheap and kinda junky Redline economy loads made for Macleods hardware stores by CIL.

Agreed - they aren't particularly old. plastic hulls probably puts them late '70s or 1980s. Still fine to shoot, but you might sell them at a small premium to sentimental types, especially with the boxes.
