Olympic trap shooting

I was wondering about one of our Canadian athletes.
My mother has a cousin named George Leary that was in the Olympics if I remember correctly. (They have fallen out of touch)
Is he going to be in Beijing this summer? Also, Is he a member of GunNutz?

I'm acquainted with George. To the best of my knowledge the answer to both of these questions is no.

That's too bad, he'd be a valuable resource on here.
I remember from when I was ten years old that he came out fifth at Salt Lake City. Edit: It was in Atlanta
I'd love to meet the guy, from the sounds of it, the Leary side of my family were great shooters. One of the older ones was barred from a particular turkey shoot because he'd always win... maybe it's genetic

In trap shooting there are only 2 berths. Susan Nattrass takes the women's spot and Giuseppe Di Salvatore has the men's. I am not sure about the other shooting sports.

I love George, and shot beside him on the National Team for 4 years while I was a junior, but sadly he won't be representing us at the upcoming games based on my latest information.
