Rumour has it that an SKS was used by the 1d1ot in Omaha. Probably an SKS-D as reports say he had two taped magasines.
How does this affect Canadian SKS owners?
The way I see it, the SKS has too many things going against it that will probably see it going the same way as the ak-47... banned.
Here are the things going against the SKS:
- It is semi-automatic
- It fires the all powerfull, armor and door piercing, assualt caliber 7,62X39
- It is the "ancestor" of the ak-47 used by terrorists around the world.
- It is the prefered rifle for suicide crazies that want to shoot up people.
- It is inexpensive and we all know the poor can't be trusted with assault weapons.
- It has a sharp pointy thing that can be used to stab puppies or school children.
Boy am I glad I own one already!
