Omega X ??

I had a complete DDM4 that I had sold to a fellow CGNer. Super nice rifle!

The profile is slimmer - way more than the RIS2 and the KAC URX & RAS. Other than that, it is a nice continous rail with a sling swivel hole.

Just by the clearance and the way it is mounted, don't think it is M203 compatible.(hence it is ultra slim)

Bought the DD M4 from GT, outrageously nice. Excellent quality and rock solid. I realy enjoy the ability to push the light and grip forward. Sorry about the s**ty pics.

Got one but it's the 7" won and can handel 37mm all day long and still can hit a 4" gong @ 200 meter's on the bench with my acog. Also super light and yes I have dropped it many time's and still looks mint. Would recomend any AR shooter looking for a free floating rock soild rail system.

I have both a RIS II FSB and an Omega X 12" FSB - although the Omega is slimmer, I prefer the RIS II for the simple reason that to remove the lower rail for cleaning the barrel exterior, etc, you have to remove both the screws on the side of the rail, and the lower set screws from the barrel nut, which would very likely disturb anything that was sighted-in on the top rail, ie. a visible laser or an IR laser. With the RIS II, it's meant to come off, and the entire barrel nut stays clamped. IMHO the RIS II appears to be a much stronger system.

I also had to grind-off both ends of my tapered FSB pins, as they were bearing on the inside of the rail - it is MUCH narrower than the RIS II.
