Not that many years ago, when F/A shoots were legal here; a friend had his MG-42 barrel so hot that you could see the change in heat caused by indiviual projectiles as they went down the bore...

The throat was (literally) f**cked, but everyone had fun....no-one got hurt....

That was one of my first thoughts. Didn't Mythbusters do an episode where they tried to blow up a car by shooting at it and couldn't do it, so they said the myth was busted? Of course I don't recall if they unleashed as much firepower on the thing. :D Hey, where were some of those guys (and gals... and kids!...) shooting? Good gawd!
I liked the tracers! Cool!
And dude with the 2 full auto pistols with the extended mags. (Glock 20's, maybe?)

perhaps someoen shot a couple hundred tracer rounds at the car casuing it to catch on fire....


edit, just wactehd it again, didnt see any tracers...hmm.. pure heat and amount of bullets i suppose.

I've heard of M60 barrels getting so hot during prolonged firing in Viet Nam they glowed white hot. Apparently, you could see the projectiles zipping down the barrel. Unfortunately, it is an extremely dangerous condition because the bullets are supposedly able to literally pop out of the barrel sideways.

P.S. I liked the little girl too! I wanna marry me one like that who's about 20 years older!
