OMG drool..........

accurate @ 100yds??? With a 4' hold over???

Seriously? Light to mid range .44 Mag loads have the same trajectory as standard velocity .22LR. I haven't seen too many people that think 100yds is outlandish for rimfire.

I have shot my 5.5" Redhawk with lighter loads at 100yds and can easily keep 6/6 on a standard IPSC target offhand and I am far from a great pistol shot.

Icedragonmx, that is one seriously gorgeous revolver. You 12(6) guys make me sick with envy.

I had the priviledge of handling an Austin Behlert Custom 3" round butt Mod 29 - complete with Magnaporting. That gun was just amazingly smooth - it ended up saving it's owners life and getting dumped in English Bay by the VPD. They are a very effective defensive pistol, with the right loads.

How accurate are the 3" 629s ?
Reason I ask is because I had a couple of the 3" Lew Horton 44 Spls. and after 25 yds. a barn door was quite safe.
On the other hand a 629 4" was amazingly accurate as far as 100 yds., much more so than a 6.5" Mod. 29 I had at the same time....

I can't really say as I usually just shoot it at the 25 yard line at our range, it will be on my to do list for this spring as our pistol range goes to 50 yards. Mine looks like the one in the picture that icedragonmx posted above.
