Look like the older version, there is no way that the plus model is that price, I would buy two.
There have been reports of people buying the plus model recently for just over 1400 taxes in... the old models in some calibres are and were selling for under a grand before tax.
I think your correct that this is an older model, but the price seems out of line to me given it's inline with what the sale prices are like for the newer Trail plus in 7.62X39.
Do people pay a premium for the 300Blk?

Probably because it's American caliber and very common in the state side maybe.
.223 Rem is also an American cartridge and even more popular state side...

I bought one a while ago for 1,499$ in 223, I love it so far, way better than expected. Actually the stock isn't that bad even though it looks very funky in the picture, really need to shoulder one to feel it at the store. I put 6x donut reticle scope on it and it got about 3 moa at 100m for quick shooting, not really concentrating. The trigger is also very good out the box.
Right on there seems to be a bit of a price spread on the newer plus models from different retailers.
It's odd that Rangeview has the newer .223 plus on sale for a bit cheaper then the 300blk in this sale thread... maybe it is a plus and they just didn't list it as one, or possibly there is more demand for the 300BLK model?
