On the hunt for 44-40

I guess my WTB has paid off as I have cases coming at a reasonable price. Some have offered new cases at about $175 /100 with shipping. They can keep them. Dies are also on route so stuff is coming together. The rifle is supposed to arrive tomorrow December 6. The 14 rnds I have will be shot off shortly after unboxing.
 
Magtech/CBC makes .44-40 but nobody seems to import it. I have been looking as I want a rifle in this and have passed up a few pump actions at decent prices because of no brass available.

Put up a WTB as my ad has worked. I have found used cases at a reasonable price. I will probably take my ad down as I believe I have found enough cases. Die sets are currently available. Will be ordering a set tomorrow.My want to buy worked well. My rifle arrived today and I fired the 14 rounds I had which was fun but wasn’t enough. Rifle is the one on the right,well I guess on bottom as it loaded sideways.

The 14 rounds I have are reloaded with black powder and will be shoot tomorrow. I have cases on route from a couple of people and I have ordered a set of dies from Higgonsons which should be here next week. To those that helped me out I thank you.

Not sure if he is still in business but I bought a couple thousand .427 200gr cast from a guy on castboolits.gunloads.com by the name of MT Chambers. Great prices and some of the nicest cast you'll ever see.

Edit: looks like he hasn't been on there in a few years, old Ben might not be with us anymore.
