On the M1 Garand what...

...Serial Number Group and Manufacturer (taking out Gas Trap and toolroom models and very low numbers) do you think would be the Best to collect and why do you think so?

I would think one would want a really late-manufacture, peacetime rifle. I only have one, will never be able to afford another. It is a 1953 Springfield in super condition and it shoots so well that I don't want to wear it out!

Just a wonderful rifle...... and this coming from a Ross devotee!
