Not going to happen. Unlike the American system, where the government is ultimately responsible only to the people of their country. In Canada, it's the other way around. As a result, it's very difficult, nay, impossible to start up a significant sized rebellion in Canada without it getting snuffed out before the 11pm news. Thanks to the Birtish system we have, we're all treated like dirty subjects to be ruled over by the elite (this is why Liberals do so well in Canada), us commoners have no power or rights. If you can wrap your head around this, then you'll find that the firearms laws in Canada make perfect sense.

For example:
"Oww, I like this."
"You can't have that."
"Why?"
"Because I don't want you to, and I'm more important than you."

Well, I dunno. I would bet that the combined small arms power of CGN might exceed that of the CF.

Obviously, armour and mortars and crew served weapons might be in short supply.... ;)
 
yeah like a armi jager .22 cal rimfire ar clone it,s restricted but let,s see it fire an ar 15 upper. but the squires bingham m16 clone is non restricted. i know the armi is a much better looking clone but still you see my reasoning there is none.

Like I said, that is what I was told but there are numerous examples that dispute it.

It seems they make it up as they go, changing the rules for each particular firearm.
