Well Iraq isn't looking so good either so I guess M4 types are out too.
I'd love a retro AR. 20lb call of duty style flat tops with 9 rails, 3 scope, 8 flash lights, grips on the front and back, etc don't appeal to me.
As for Vietnam, 40-50 year old American M16s are still fighting wars in South East Asia so that says it all.

I have no heartache whatsoever if one group of enemies decide to take out another group of enemies.

Surprisingly, Hezbollah is probably the only group that the US has NOT been arming of late.

thanks for posting; i wanted to build a CAR style next but a Colt SP1 20" barrel came my way and I happen to have a 604 slick side upper so plans have changed lol.

So good! I'd love to have something similar! I imagine parts to build one are scarce? I wouldn't try and build anything authentic, just love the style.
