Hey all. Time for a new MPP rifle......I am really liking some of the 1389's I'm seeing on the net, but I don't have a lot of time to mod. Anybody have a source for a 1389/2289 that has already been done up? I'm looking for a steel breech (high rise prefered) specifically....other mods (piston, etc) are a bonus.

I have a 1389 donor rifle here (old style with the metal swing out breech) that I *could* build on (anybody know of a place in canada that offers high rise steel breeches/bolts) but I'd rather just buy one done up. Missed a great deal on the EE just recently too :(

Any input appreciated :)

Hello~hate just posting a link to another forum but honestly, that question would be best answered over here; www.airgunforum.ca

Modded Crosman's come-up for sale often, so I doubt you'll have any issues finding what you want built-up already, or loads of info. on where to get parts. There are plenty of Canadian sources.

BTW, I used to have a 1389, the same one. Surprisingly accurate little pump-up carbine, had an old Bushnell scopechief on it....almost boring consistency. Sold when in a pinch for $ (Scope was worth more than the gun) and they guy I sold it to won't sell it back to me~for more $, and with 2 years of use on it! lol The stock-release pin did start to wear the skin thin on my left hand after a long afternoon of shooting. If you own that gun, you know what I mean. :)
