Im on phase 2 and was invoiced for final payment last week. No shipping notice however. They said eta of 4-6 weeks 5 weeks ago.

Im a little dissapointed these do not look like other JRAs ive seen. These are supposedly reparked? The finish on the receivers doesnt look very fresh. One of them has a terrible looking gas tube that they didnt bother to fix.
Looks like bad parts in a nice stock. Am I missing something? Please tell me the stains are oil or cosmoline or something and not rust.

I was really looking forward to getting mine but its a bit anticlimactic :(

Yeah these arent $179 sks. Im not going to gamble on a $2k rifle.
Whats the policy if im not satisfied with what I receive?

JRA rifles are supposed to be built at the highest standard and its clearly not the case here. What happened?

Pics up! What I believe you are seeing is a bit of oil on the metal, in the pictures above. The park job is excellent, and there is nothing negative of note on the receiver that I see. The stock is perfect, as you'd expect. There is some very light pitting on the gas cylinder, but I don't see any on the barrel. This is just the result of the raw parts JRA has available to work with, it is what it is. It's not specific to this batch. I'll give the exposed metal a rub with an oily cloth, and I suspect everything will clean up nicely.

On the pic of the 6 rifles showing a close up of the triggers is there a crack in one of the stocks in the middle or is it just the pic? Other than that things looks fine. Probably just need a wipe. Can't wait for my rifle!
