Finally got out and got some trigger time, Turns out the cheap plinking ammo i bought does ok(PMC bronze that was recommended above from canada ammo)
Here is "The Range", can barely see the target 50 yards out let alone the one i setup at 100 lol
Sighting in the scope at 50 yards took a while, I bore sighted it when i mounted it and it was sighted a little high but waiting 15 min between shots to ensure i was getting it zeroed with a cold bore sucks, the thin barrel can be a pain, took me almost 2 hours to fire all these shots you see below..... anyways end results were good eventually
And then three groups at 100 yards, started with a cold bore but after shot 5 and barrel hot it really opens up on you, like alot. Good thing i never plan on taking 5+ shots on game in a row lol, this isnt a range gun unless you like killing time waiting for it to cool. Shot middle group first, then upper right one with 2 in same hole and a slight flier, then the upper left group where it starts to open up on ya when its nice and hot. Did not wait for any cooling between these groups/shots, The middle top hole is from the nail that was holding the target, all groups 3 shots. Not bad i think for my first time firing a scoped rifle that wasnt a .22, with cheap ammo and off the hood of my 4runner is hardly a real bench lol.
Weatherby is right, this gun will shoot sub MOA stock, even with cheaper ammo.
