One Game One Shotgun

Had to stop at surgeons office to fill out paper work, which is very close to Cabela's here. In gun room was a Citori Superlight Feather. I think I'm in love. Wow that gun feels and fits like it was made for me. Gotta save some sheckles and start thinking of good reasons for the warden.

Was it a used gun and if so, what was the price? I've found that the used gun prices at my local Cabela's are way out to lunch. Even more so then most EE pricing!

Yes used, I wasn't looking at price. More at fit and finish. Kinda always feel rushed in that store. I like Wholesale Sports here better. No used firearms, but closer to home. More personable. I believe its going to be used for me. Love to buy new, but cost is too high. I'll keep saving. Keep looking. Hope for the best

I have a 625 Feather three barrel set(20/28/410), and I have killed a lot of pheasants with the 28 gauge barrels installed. At around 5-1/2lbs, it is a pleasure to carry in the field.

Loogin, a well cared for gun can last 100 year plus. So unless you have a thing about buying new, there are always good options at reasonable pricing to be found on the used market, regardless of the quality level you are after. It just takes a little more work than driving down to the store.

BTW, as an ex Winnipeger, I am very surprised to hear you say you prefer Wholesale over Cabelas. SIR/Cabelas was/is not perfect but you couldn't drag me into Wholesale. Hopefully they have gotten better. I got a couple nice guns at SIR/Cabelas.....just had to make an offer and let them stew until they figured out the correct pricing.

canvasback, I definitely want used. I am gonna work at getting what I want. Good things sometimes come to those who wait. Not saying I don't like Cabelas, now that they have the new/bigger store. Some of the staff, maybe a little long in the tooth has lost their patience. I appreciate your comments. And any help is much appreciated
