One gun quick opening Safes.

You could look into the "Smith & Wesson QuickDraw" High-Security Safe. It might be along the lines of what i think your looking for. I picked up something along those lines from Truck Vault out of the states. I had no problem "getting" my purchase home. Prototype Integrated Solutions, Inc. claims to be a dealer for them. 403-456-3050 Calgary, AB

I just put in an order from 911supply.ca for the GunVault multi deluxe gun safe, now I can relax knowing I have an acceptable gun safe on its way before my Glock 17 Gen 4 (deposit paid) ships out to me.

April 29th, just received my multi deluxe GunVault at the post office.
I really like it, looks like the safe is built very well.
I just have to program it tomorrow.
So far, I think the safe is worth the money.

Those little Honeywell ones are okay. In compliance with the law, you can thread a cheap, vinyl-coated combo lock through the well, but keep a loaded magazine in the case. Stay away from Simplex locks, though.

I have used a Sequiam Bio Box for the last couple of years and it is fantastic. Holds up to 100 finger prints, and has never failed to open for me. I try it every time I go by, "just to make sure....". Could be another option for anyone interested.

Here is the one I got in our bedroom. Its from secure logic. It installs easily between standard wall studs and easily hang a picture over it. I keep a XDM .40 with 2 mags (not in the gun of course, safe storage laws you know :) ) a surefire 6p, and an old cellphone to call 911. It works great, I have it programmed to read both mine and the wifes index finger and thumb on both hands. I have toured guests thru our house many times and nobody has ever suspected it was behind the painting.
Maybe i am a bit paranoid, bit I feel " It is better to have a gun and not need it, Than to need a gun and not have it."

Maybe my friends just know me really well, but if I had a big painting in my bedroom, the first thing they'd ask me is what I have in the safe behind it.
