I did something I normally do not do; I only took one pistol to the range today. Yes, it was my 9mm 1911 and it continues to perform at unattained levels after the magic of Marianne Carniak and Alex Hamilton was applied. I am not a 25 yard shooter but I was able to do well at that distance today. I put a group into 2 1/2 by 4" off a bench. NO BOBBLES! I now know a 9mm I like better than a BHP and that says a lot. I also did spotting for my friend, Tom, and I enjoyed that as he is a very good shot. Regards, Richard :)

Richard, congrats on the very nice unit.
You may well have, either on purpose or unintentionally, stumbled onto the finest combination of calibre (9MM)...cheap to shoot/reload, accurate, effective (JHP)..and platform (1911)...handles well, best trigger of any pistol, reliable (once 'massaged' by someone who knows what they are doing)
I am in the midst of ordering a Nighthawk custom in 9MM...(The Ladyhawk!..just don't tell any of my friends that it is intended for female shooters!):D
