"one holer" rifle

How funny... I was shown a one holer two days ago.. it too was new.
Have you already guessed the rest?

Yes,..I was given the test target which had one ragged hole. and actually, it was not even the actual test target, it was a copy (like a photocopy) no actual holes in the target, just a copy of the priginal I suppose.

Back to the serious stuff... Doug when you guy's use to build your two 'wholer's', did ya put a mud flap in between? Or was it like a competition after about 'Day 3' of deer camp, to see who could spray who, like a skunk?:D

Oh damn, thats just nasty!

My one holer is real sore right now from bouncing around in that friggan loader all night. Fightin a losing battle with that storm out there.

I teach large classes and have given expert evidence in court... Some of the "experts" deem themselves so by the number of postings they place on forums... just indicates a lot of time at the keyboard.... one old guys opinion..

LOL, when I was being taught what seems like yesterday (+25 years) we were constantly told we were tech's not experts because we did not want to be in court doing just that..After all this time the only thing I have determined I am an expert at is pissin off the ex

An astute observation as always Doug. Certainly a question that should be asked never mind the possible lack of veracity. Maybe a newer form of marketing?

Methinks that Doug is having problems at the "one-holer" --advancing age-related thing? that has caused him to be a bit crusty today. :)

For one holer think .221 Fireball :)

As far as opinions go there is a lot of truth to the old saying:

Better to be silent and thought a fool than to open your mouth and prove it.

Merry Xmas.

OK I see, I am beginning to understand, there are many possible meanings for a "one-holer," and any suggestion that a person would BUY that expensive toy and then shoot, say, five rounds at a hundred yard target expecting that the rounds would go into one hole, would be just so 20th century. Like really!

I bet the gun is TACTICAL too. Whatever that means this week.

Doug

I've seen a competition where these things called rifles make one hole at 100 yards. The so called rifles are placed/attached on a concrete bench rest. You cannot put one up to your shoulder that is for sure. It does not move you have to. After each shot bore cleaned from its bolted to bench rest position. They must cost over $10,000 - do not look commercial.
To each his own.

Aw hell Doug, a "one-holer" is the old rifle kept in the outhouse just in case a nasty ol bear shows up when you're making poo-poo in the middle of the night. Phil Shoemaker wrote a good article about the subject one time.

Yes indeedy, that .221 Fireball I got from you is a tack-driving laser-like one-holer for sure! :p

And I have the target to prove it. Mind you, I never did repeat that feat.....:
