Shot this coyote last night around 7pm. My parents have seen this coyote daily while im at work and two days ago it was less than 100 yards from our house in broad daylight. It has a real bad limp as well and its den is probably 400 yards away from where I sit now. Well last night I ate dinner outside and I see her limping over the hill at the pond coming towards the house. Thankfully the .270 was beside me. 300 yard straight on shot she dropped like a sack of bricks. It wasn't afraid of people at all and I didn't want it going for my dog or the barn cats.
