One Load for Two Rifles.... 223.

I have 2 338lapuas that share the same load just fine, that said I drive my friend who is obsessed with tiny groups nuts with my lack of ocd expecially when his longest shot is with my dirty hand annealed ammo. I find it amusing that people don't think you can get a good load for 2 or more guns how do they make factory match ammo?

factory match ammo doesn't work well in all rifles.
I tried Federal Gold Medal, Elley and Aguilla match in my Savage 22LR and the group sizes exceed Federal Game Shock

Your right but unless you are doing benchrest you are better off finding a decent load making a big batch and shooting, I share 69gr nosler, lots of varget, ar match primer and FL fc brass 223 handloads between a few rifles 2 bolts and my ar, I do admit I seat them out past mag length if I know there going into the bolt guns.

The only rifles I have that will accept the same ammo and shoot it well are some of the military mausers I have. The most notable are the Brazilian 1908s and 1935s in 7x57 as long as the bores are excellent. It doesn't matter which model you interchange the ammo with they will shoot it well. Usually better than most people can hold. Their chambers are all identical. Their bores have little to no variation in diameter. The rifles are extremely well finished and fitted. The Brazilians must have paid top dollar for the best. The same can be said for the Mod 1912 Steyr Chilenos in 7x57 but not the refurbs and rebarreled rifles in 7.62 Nato.

I also have two identical Tikka T3 rifles, chambered in 223rem, that were ordered as a pair. Sadly their serial numbers aren't even close. Both of these rifles will shoot the loads they like as if they were lazers. The loads will not interchange between the two and shoot acceptably. They both are OK with factory ammo but react different as to which brand they like.

Sometimes custom rifles chambered with the same reamer will shoot the same ammo or hand loads well. Not always. Sometimes it isn't the fault of the hand load. Often bedding differences are the culprit, parallax in scopes, fouled bores etc.
